We have had a long standing problem with iron in our well water that resulted in reddish staining of the toilet bowls. We were having to use Iron Out at least 3-4 times a week to remove the stains. The company that had installed our previous system did not have an available fix for our problem. Also, the system they had installed looked like something my wife and I might have cobbled together. We called Kinetico and their sales rep met with us and thoroughly explained their system and gave us a 100{2c53df97c2905f9061334ad06901070791c2ebb7cff943fe91886081e7a8c71d} guarantee that their system would solve the iron problem. One week later the installer was here and he constructed a system that looks like it was designed by an architect-neat, orderly and in a word, beautiful. It looks like it was installed by a professional. Ten days later and there has been no iron staining whatsoever and the water is wonderfully soft. The regional manager for Kinetico came by today to make sure there were no problems and to also to test the water. NO IRON! We thoroughly recommend Kinetico!

We love our new Kinetico system! About 2 years ago we opted for a Whirlpool instead because it was cheaper, but there’s a reason! Not even 1 year into having it, we started having problems. We let it limp along for the last 8 months and finally called Alex at our local Kinetico and told him we were ready! We’ve had it for about a month now and we love it. There is such a huge difference in our water and you can see it on your skin and hair, the dishes, and all the surfaces that water touches. I wish we would have just gone with the Kinetico to begin with 2 years ago!
I knew when I moved to Atlantic Beach, I would need a water softener due to the long time build up in the toilets and sinks. I met with both a Culligan and Kinetico representative (Pam in Newport, NC office). I elected to go with Kinetico mainly because of the outstanding warranty with the product. I have had these systems in my house now for a little over a month and I saw a difference immediately. Not only for me but for the drinking water for my dogs. Before the reverse osmosis, I had to clean their white water bowl of the orange, iron stains and sediment that settled in the bottom. Now, I don’t have orange, iron stains or any sediment settling at the bottom of their bowl. I was pleased with the initial contact, the immediate call to set up an initial appointment, the explanation of their systems, the quickness of getting financed and installation of the products. Everyone I have talked to and met with have been very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend this company and their products. I know I made the right decision for better water for me and my dogs.

In order to decide on a water treatment system, you need to be shown exactly the condition of your current water supply. Advanced Water Systems, Inc. spent over two hours running just about every test on our current water. It showed how it wasn’t as healthy as you might expect, especially from a city water system. We have been pleased with our water system because it’s all in one and services the whole house so all our faucets and ice makers are taken care of with cleaned softened water with no filters to change.
How bad was our water? The smell emitted from the bathroom faucet made brushing your teeth a gagging experience. The sediment/minerals suspended in the water left a scum of film around the cup when brewing a single cup of tea. Everything removed from the dishwasher was cloudy and chaulky. The toilet bowls had material clinging to the sides requiring constant cleaning with cleanser. Toilet tanks, washing machine, and dishwasher stained orange. Soap mixed with the particulates in the water were like magnets for that orange color. One shower and the walls of our showers were covered with an orange film. My beautiful natural white hair, towels and linens tinted shades of orange.
We saw results IMMEDIATELY upon installation. ALL our problems were solved with this effective system! Our installer went the extra mile to tuck our system inconspicuously under the house in a crawl space and with negligible, noninvasive installation of flushing pipe. This system was an extremely wise investment both short and long term.

Just over 4 years ago Alex talked my wife and I into installing a Reverse Osmosis water purification system. Randomly enough, tonight I decided to test our water quality in our house compared to regular tap water using a TDS meter (lower the number the better) . My daughter added a third sample from a store bought bottle of water. The tap water was 229 ppm. We were shocked to see the bottled water was only 29 ppm. Now our hose water from our 4 year old system with just over 1 year old filters…14 ppm. Two times cleaner than bottled water! Skeptical, we ran all three again getting the same results. So worth the investment. Imagine if we had new filters. Thanks Alex!
Purchased Oct 2017 and still can’t get over the great experience so just had to share it with you.
Kinetico was able to turn my brown water crystal clear. These guys really know their stuff. The negative BBB reviews are for other dealerships. I confirmed it myself. For quite some time we have been dealing with brown water. I heard about Kinetico from an employee at Home Depot. I called and asked if Kinetico would come and give me a free evaluation. When we explained the situation to the receptionist she relayed it to the Paul, the Owner/Water Quality Specialist who thought that from the description of the issue it would require a more Senior person take a look, so he came himself.
Paul did a number of tests only to confirm what the well place told me originally told, that “my well was full of iron” (ferrous)”. Additional tests were performed there was also Manganese, Silica, Iron (ferric) and bleach which the original well company put in the water to clear it up.
Every detail was explained in a language I could understand and if I didn’t understand he wouldn’t move on until I did. All in All, I purchased the system which included a sediment filter with reusable cartridges, macrolite combo filter with softener, tank filter for ultra-particles, free drinking water system with a chrome faucet. The agreed upon price was fair. The installation was flawless. Mike did an awesome job, He was sure to line the floor with a cloth so as not to dirty the floor since he would be crawling around under the house in dirt. The installation took 3 hours single-handedly. This was an excellent experience and now we have crystal clear water and a 10-year warranty on parts and labor. Thanks, Kinetico, Richmond crew you did a great job and now I don’t have to dig another well and be hit or miss on what we get. It might be crystal clear or we might hit another vain and have muddier water.

We have had unseasonably COLD weather here in Virginia. I am a seasonal owner and came home on February 17, 2018 to frozen pipes from the well to the house to the water filtration system. This caused a small filter in my Kinetico unit to crack. Out of all the filters I purchased all were intact. Paul came out and replaced the filter free of charge even though frozen units are not included in the warranty. Furthermore, he fixed one of the pipes in the well that had frozen, which he didn’t have to do.
To make matters even more forthcoming he made recommendations on how we could proceed with replacing the frozen pipes by using PEX piping instead of PVC. This type of piping is less prone to freezing than the PVC. However, the only down side is that it is much costlier than PVC however well worth the investment. He introduced us to a “PVC cutting tool” that made cutting and installing the new piping under the house less time consuming and efficient. We were unable to put in the PEX piping at this time but intend to follow through with Paul’s recommendation to replace the PVC piping with the PEX piping in the beginning of the Fall season.
So in short, even on a Sunday, Paul the Manager/Owner of Kinetico of Richmond, Virginia will be there for you even after they install the system.
I had a leak in the Kinetico piping. I called my local plumber/neighbor last night. He says “Call Kinetico”. I was anxious and worried all night.
I called at 8am sharp this morning and talked with “Bill”. He immediately put me at ease and said someone would be coming “Down East” at some point today.
At 10am “Robert” arrives. About 15 minutes later the problem is fixed. He says “No Charge, you still have 2-3 months left on your 10 year warranty”.
For nearly 10 years I have been most happy with my Kinetico “investment”. It has been “problem free” and I have enjoyed the “rust free and smell free” water.
I have ALWAYS received courteous service when I stopped in the store in Newport for Filters or Salt, but when I had a “real problem” the courteous/prompt service was very much appreciated.

My husband and I purchased a water softening system 4-5 years ago. Our primary concern was the mineral deposits, and wear and tear we noticed in the appliances that we had to replace after purchasing our Atlantic Beach home. Having had a softener system years ago in another state, we also missed the soft water for bathing. We talked to several local dealers of other systems and decided upon Kinetico for many reasons. The most important was the mechanical, non electric aspect that means there is never a timer to reset after power loss. It works as water is used….no costly , routine regeneration process. Salt lasts a long time because it only processes water as it is needed. Simple to change filter once a year and occasional salt addition is all we need! Nice people, quickly responsive if needed (like the first time we tried to remember how to change the filter) and Pam Stroehmann has been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this system….well worth it!
Several months ago we had our Kinetico reverse osmosis under sink water filtration system installed. From the initial call straight on through to the follow up we experienced professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly interactions with staff. We are very pleased with our water system and feel a great sense of relief to know that our drinking water is safe.
We have been extremely pleased with our full Kinetico water system!!! For twenty years prior, we had another leading system but decided to try Kinetico with our new home after hearing people rave about their Kinetico system. We had small issues over that twenty years that led us to consider this change. Kinetico is, hands down, the better system! Our water is just the right softness; using water during regeneration time doesn’t interfere in the cycling; and using the reverse osmosis water for cooking and drinking ensures we are using the purest water possible and the proof is visibly seen…. to name but a few!

I explained to you about my daughters skin condition, and how my other water filter system was not working out for my family. The Kinetico water treatment system your company installed has been a great improvement to my daughters skin condition. Kinetico has helped me with my dry skin also.
I also purchased the drinking water filter system in addition to my whole house system. Having that system added to my kitchen sink has made my life much simpler. Also, I have to be on a CPAP air machine 365 days per year. I no longer have to purchase or store special water to fill my CPAP machine every night! In addition to that…I do enjoy having an ice cold (filtered ice) glass of water at my fingertips. We’re also cooking with clean water.
All in all…. the decision to have your water system added to my “life” has been a smart decision for myself and my family.
